We’ll school you

Your students are getting nervous (or your teachers lazy) and it’s time to take them out for a walk? Our kayaks are there to refresh you!

Our trash fishing activity is open to secondary school students in the 4th, 5th and the 6th year. With our proud fleet of five kayaks, we can settle 10 oarsmen comfortably. The maximum number of participants is limited to 20 people. The activity lasts 1h30 for a single group or 2h15 for a double group.

We’ll start by giving a short explanation on the organisation, the problems we work on and the solutions we propose. Then, it’s all up to you and your net fishing skills. After you’ve filled your bin, you’ll be able to compare your catch but the gloves won’t be off. Indeed, you’ll still need them to sort the trash and tidy up the place. And since many hands make light work, we’ll ask you to help our guide to put the kayaks in and out of the water, and bring them back after your adventure.

We provide all the material but make sure you come properly clothed – we’ll put you on the water, be it cold or warm weather. We also have a cupboard to keep your valuables well stored.

So what are you waiting for ? Fill in the contact form so we can plan your kayak trip!

PS: For safety reasons, the students should always be accompanied by a teacher on the water.

PPS: Oh and yes, here is our docking address: on the quay close to Quai des Péniches 10, 1000 Brussels.

Hungry for more? We also organise DUO OUTINGS, which combine the kayak trips and a visit to the Sewer Museum, the water treatment plant, the incineration plant or the sorting plant. Click here to have more information.
